Meet the Team
Bio

Thomas Fox, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine and joint replacement specialist at Bluewater Orthopedics and sees patients at their locations in Niceville and Crestview, Florida. Dr. Fox started Bluewater Orthopedics in 1993 after finishing his sports medicine fellowship training at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He specializes in joint replacement, hip, knee, shoulder, sports medicine, direct anterior hip replacement, and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair.

After graduating from Saint Joseph’s University, Dr. Fox earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating internship at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital before finishing a general surgery residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. Afterward, he pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

In his free time, Dr. Fox enjoys attending football games (Go Saints!), boating, playing golf, and spending time with his four children and two grandchildren. He attends Shoreline Church in Destin, Florida. Dr. Fox is also the team physician for Niceville High School and Northwest Florida State College. He volunteers for Crossroads and Hope Free Medical Clinics. Dr. Fox is also a founding and active member of the Caduceus Society.
