This is my second Time to Dr. Fox. I had a shoulder replacement last year and he did an amazing job now I’m having another surgery with him. He is very calm very caring and very helpful. I feel confident in this next procedure again. I highly recommend Dr. Fox

Dr Markowski is such a wonderful knowledgeable professional as well as always pleasant, kind and compassionate. He listens and acts after assessing the problem. . Comes up with solutions and alternatives to resolve it. He inspires confidence and my husband and I appreciate him so much. Technician who did my X-rays and did Intake history was so kind and efficient as well. So thankful for the expert medical care we have at Bluewater Orthopedics.

Dr Buchan is a highly skilled, very personal and all around amazing doctor. He has done two Surgeries for me and they have improved my way of life significantly. Basically gave me my life back, pain free in my left wrist and right elbow.
My first surgery with Dr Buchan, he fused my left wrist. I fractured my left wrist and because of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it slowly ate away and destroyed my wrist.
Since 2010, I have not been able to move my wrist.The immobility was something I could work around and still live my life. But the pain and weakness were horrible and debilitating. I could not pick anything up over five pounds without pain. Day and night my wrist would throb with pain with little relief from gels, heat or strong pain meds.
Dr Buchan cleaned up my wrist be removing bone fragments and calcium build up. He also had to move my wrist back into place because it had shifted over time because of the RA. Once he cleaned it up and moved it, he inserted a plate running from the middle/back of my hand down past my wrist. He used nine screws to secure the plate.
I had very little swelling and pain post op.
I no longer have pain in my wrist and I am able to use my left hand to pick anything up over five pounds without any pain or weakness.
Four months later, Dr Buchan operated on my right elbow. Because of my RA, Calcium and bone fragments had prevented me from stretching my right arm completely straight.
As with my wrist, the pain and weakness were horrible and debilitating. I could not pick anything up over five pounds without pain
During the surgery, Dr Buchan removed the extra calcium and bone fragments. He attached a cadaver tissue to my elbow to help stabilize it.
He then installed the IJS elbow stabilization system, you can find plenty of pictures and info online. The system keeps the elbow secure and allows you to bend your arm without injuring your elbow while it heals.
During the next seven weeks, I had physical therapy at Orthopedic and sports physical therapy center, LLC in Blue water bay, Niceville. The entire staff is amazing. They would massage and break up the scar tissue around the elbow. Before my surgeries, I did not think Physical therapy was necessary, I was completely wrong and would recommend it to all.
On the seventh week after the surgery, Dr Buchan removed the IJS. The procedure did not take long at all and my post op recovery had minimal pain. I am able to use my right arm pain free now. I am still in physical therapy as I write this, but each passing week, I am getting stronger and stronger.
I highly recommend anyone who has any issues with their arms to see Dr Buchan. You will not be disappointed and I thank him for all that he has done for me. Thank you sir.
